STD Clinic
This program works to reduce the incidence of sexually transmitted disease through screening, treatment, education, counseling and contact of known cases. Screening is offered for Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Chlamydia, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, Trichomonas, Monilia Infections, Herpes, lice, veneral warts and the HIV virus (AIDS). All services are free of charge and are available to anyone requesting service (including minors who do not have parental consent).

HIV Clinic
This program works to educate residents of Alexander County in order to prevent additional cases of HIV and AIDS. By dispelling myths, diffusing fear, and fostering hopes to reduce the financial, medical, psychological, spiritual and legal burdens placed on infected individuals and their families. The program offers community educational programs, counseling and referrals for individuals and their families with HIV disease. Testing for HIV is available. The program is open to all residents of Alexander County. There is no fee for services rendered. An appointment is required.
